2025년 AKN Annual Meeting이 KSBNS (Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences)와 공동 주관으로 San Diego에서 열립니다.

1. 2025 AKN Annual Meeting의 일시와 장소

• Date: November 17, 2025 (Monday)
• Time: 6:30 – 9:30 PM (seated dinner included)
• Location: Horton Grand Hotel (311 Island Ave, San Diego, CA 92101)

2.  Pre-registration 

작년과 마찬가지로 올해도 사전 등록을 통해, 보다 효율적인 준비를 하는데 도움을 주시기 바랍니다. 아래의 Link를 통해 미리 등록을 해주시면 감사하겠습니다. 참석인원의 규모에 따라 입장인원과 저녁식사 제공이 제한될 수 있어서 사전등록을 하신 분들 순으로 참석이 가능함을 알려드리며 미리 양해를 구합니다.

3. AKN 학술상

AKN 학술상의 지원을 받고 있습니다. 마감일은 10월 17일로 얼마 남지 않았습니다. 올해의 AKN 학술상은 네부분에서 수상하게 됩니다: (1) Pre-doctoral, (2) Post-doctoral trainees, (3) Junior Research Scientist, (4) Junior Faculty Awards (자세한 안내가 담긴 별도의 이메일을 곧 보내드릴 예정입니다.)

예년과 마찬가지로 다수의 회사와 연구기관에서 올해도 적극적으로 후원을 해주신 덕분에 순조롭게 AKN 학술상 수여와 In-person meeting을 계획할 수 있게 되었습니다.
모두 11월 17일에 San Diego에서 뵙기를 고대합니다.

RE: Announcement of 2025 AKN Annual Meeting
Dear Friends and Colleagues, on behalf of the AKN (Association of Korean Neuroscientists in America https://www.akneuro.org), we would like to invite you to the 2025 AKN Annual Meeting. This meeting will be an in-person meeting and co-hosted by KSBNS (Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences).Please help us disseminate this information by sharing it with colleagues in your institution or elsewhere. We would greatly appreciate your help.

2. Pre-registration is required and accepted until the limited seats are filled.
It is especially important for this AKN meeting as seating is limited. Please pre-register at your earliest convenience.

3. AKN Outstanding Research Awards: Deadline, October 17, 2025
We will present four types of AKN Outstanding Research Awards: (1) Pre-doctoral Award, (2) Post-doctoral Award, (3) Junior Research Scientist Award, (4) Junior Faculty Award (A separate email will follow with detailed instructions). We wish to see you all in San Diego in November.
