Job Description

A postdoctoral researcher position immediately available for studying the mechanisms of cellular differentiation of mesenchymal cell types, particularly osteoblasts, adipocytes and chondrocytes. A main focus is on understanding the molecular basis for common developmental signals (e.g., Hh, Wnt, Bmp, Notch) to direct the differentiation of specific cell types. A combination of cell culture and mouse genetics is utilized in this research. A successful candidate should possess strong motivation, a good publication record and a strong background in molecular and biochemical techniques.
