Job Description

Two postdoctoral positions are available in the Ozcan laboratory in the Division of Endocrinology, Children’s Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School. Positions are offered to study the role of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and unfolded protein response (UPR) signaling and also the effect of chemical chaperones on

1) Insulin receptor signaling and type 2 diabetes in obesity,
2) Hypothalamic control of metabolic homeostasis (strong neuroscience
background is required for the candidates applying for this area of research),

The ideal candidates should have a Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degrees with strong background in molecular biology and genetics evident by peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.
