UTMB: Post-doc/Research Scientist position available immediately for
NIH-funded research on the influence of genetic variability on xenobiotic
metabolism. 

Applicant must be highly motivated and able to work independently but also
integrate well and interact with the current research team. Applicant is
expected to independently plan and conduct experiments, analyze and
interpret data, solve research problems, and stay current with the
literature.  Applicant is expected to write manuscripts and present data at
scientific meetings, thus have good command of the English language and
communication skills.

Applicant must have molecular biology experience in DNA, RNA, and protein
isolation, PCR, RT-PCR, sequencing, western blot and immunoprecipitation,
cell culture and transfection techniques. Basic knowledge in statistics and
computer competency is required and bioinformatics experience would be
