I hope everyone is doing fine.
I would like to update you on two issues.

1) AKN Website: As discussed at our last meeting, we upgraded the AKN website. Professor Yoonsuck Choe of Texas A&M University spent many hours upgrading our website. Please visit our website at https://akneuro.org and a) register as a member, b) give us feedback, and c) use Member Forum to post any important announcements, such as job postings. You need to register to receive future e-mail communications from AKN (all communications will be sent to registrants only). To encourage your registration, at our annual meeting in November, we will hand out very nice gifts to 5 registrants drawn from the pool of members who registered by the end of April, 2010.

At https://akneuro.org, 1) Enter your name initially as “First Name” followed by “Last Name”; 2) go to "User Menu"->"Your Details" and fill out the rest of the information. The system will send you an e-mail for confirmation. The login information is secure.

2) Annual meeting: After a very successful meeting last year, we are preparing this year’s meeting. Our meeting this year will be in San Diego on the evening of Monday, November 15. Historically, we have a big attendance in our San Diego meetings and we are expecting another big and successful one. We are working on a site that is just two blocks away from the convention center. I will send out an e-mail when the meeting arrangements are finalized.
