We are delighted to report about our exciting and successful AKN annual meeting in 2016!
First and foremost, we would like to thank all those who attended and supported this year’s AKN annual meeting in San Diego. We hope the attendees found it to be professionally productive and personally fulfilling to interact with Korean scientists from all corners of the world.
Our sponsors’ generous support enables us to hold this meeting every year. The unfailing dedication of all AKN officers and committee members drives this meeting.
We would like to congratulate the winners of the 2016 AKN outstanding research awards. Most of our awardees become core members of AKN to help with subsequent annual meetings. It is heartening to see the outstanding quality of award applications every year. Unfortunately, the number of high quality applications is such that we always struggle to accommodate all the worthy candidates and regret that many deserving applicants cannot be rewarded. We ask that you persist and keep applying!
