The Department of Pharmacology is a collegial and collaborative interdisciplinary scientific group, with strengths in neuroscience, cancer research, structural biology, epigenetics, cellular optogenetics, and bioinformatics. Our department is deeply committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion both within the department and the university. We encourage applications from all individuals who would thrive in a collaborative and collegial scientific environment. Applicants should also be enthusiastic about teaching and serving as research mentors in our interdepartmental graduate training programs such as the Pharmacology Graduate Program (https://www.cuanschutz.edu/graduate-programs/pharmacology/home) and the Neuroscience Graduate Program (https://www.cuanschutz.edu/graduate-programs/neuroscience/home).

Applicants must have a PhD and/or MD degree and appropriate and sufficient post-doctoral experience to establish and/or maintain an independent research program competitively funded by extramural grant support.
