      Postdoctoral Fellow or Research Associate Position

      A postdoctoral or research associate position is available to study the neurobiology of alcohol use disorder, sleep, and astrocyte-neuron interaction in Dr. Doo-Sup Choi’s laboratory at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. For detailed laboratory information, please read some recent articles (J Neurosci. 39:7206-7217, 2019: Biol Psychiatry. 88:797-808, 2020; Neuropsychopharmcol. 46:227-228, 2021) and laboratory website (http://mayoresearch.mayo.edu/staff/choi_ds.cfm).

      Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree with 0-5 years postdoctoral experience in rodent ex vivo/in vivo electrophysiology with optogenetics, chemogenetics, and fiber photometry-based calcium imaging. Candidates who have experience with rodent behaviors, head-mount microendoscopy, and EEG recording will be preferred.
